Data Scientists/Machine Learning Engineers at Verato work in small, agile teams to help define the best methods to assemble and verify the correctness and completeness of the Reference Database that powers Verato’s Identity Resolution Services. To accomplish this they apply Big Data, data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to our Reference Database, as well as to any new data sources being incorporated into it. Data Scientists work side by side with the development team to improve and extend the features used by our classification algorithms, helping us make smarter decisions as we deliver Identity Resolution Services to our customers. The insights gained from analyzing the vast amounts of data inside our Reference Database also support our sales, marketing, and leadership teams in their decision making.

The ideal candidates for this position will have a passion for discovering insights hidden in large data sets. They will be adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different Identity matching techniques. They must have strong experience using a variety of methods and tools to implement models and simulations. Requirements

To fulfill the responsibilities of this position, the following is required:

  • Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field with emphasis on Machine Learning.
  • 3-5 years of experience manipulating large data sets and building statistical models.
  • Excellent scripting and programming skills in Python.
  • Experience using Apache Spark.
  • Expertise querying NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/DocumentDB as well as relational databases.

Verato is seeking a Solution Architect to join our team.  The Verato Solution Architect is responsible for pre-sales and post-sales solution definition and delivery. This position will work closely with a team of account executives to present Verato’s technology and business value to clients in multiple industries, but with a primary focus on healthcare provider, payer and HIE organizations.

The Solution Architect will play a critical role in Verato’s growth over the next several years. Some responsibilities include:

To fulfill the responsibilities of this position, expertise or knowledge in the following areas is required: 

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree.
  • 5+ years of experience with a complex 24×7 SaaS environment.
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices regarding security, monitoring, configuration management, zero-downtime upgrades, disaster prevention and recovery, compliance, etc.
  • Demonstrated strength in automation with python or bash scripting.

Field Developers work closely with Verato’s customers, sales engineers, and customer success team to help integrate Verato’s technology with systems and technologies present at our customers’ sites. The role of a Field Developer goes beyond implementing software adapters or SDKs to interface with the customers’ systems.
