Verato is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our fun and dynamic team! The Marketing Associate will be responsible for executing integrated marketing campaigns, delivering qualified leads and driving overall demand for our products. The right candidate will be a highly analytical, highly organized, highly driven self-starter excited about B2B marketing, with a background in marketing campaign development, customer segmentation, demand generation, and marketing automation processes. Some responsibilities include:

  • Deliver efficient and effective multi-channel programs that result in high-quality leads
  • Define and manage the demand generation plan to drive qualified leads through the funnel
  • Manage our marketing automation tools to ensure all integrations and programs are running smoothly
  • Plan and execute our events, coordinating with sales and the broader marketing and executive teams
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop a deep understanding of our buyers and generate campaign strategies that increase demand and market awareness
  • Develop and oversee social media presence, including campaigns and content
  • Track and analyze success of marketing campaigns through marketing KPIs and deliver actionable insights to management
  • Marketing automation, sales automation

 To fulfill the responsibilities of this position, the following is required:

  • 3+ years marketing/demand generation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Highly organized self-starter that works well under deadlines
  • Ability to travel a couple days a quarter for events
  • Experience with conferences and events, including experience exhibiting at an event with over 1,000 attendees
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM programs, such as HubSpot and Salesforce preferred
  • Experience in digital marketing a plus
  • Experience with healthcare-related marketing a plus
  • Experience working with inside sales team a plus

Software Engineer

Software Engineer

Technology | McLean, VA HQ

Design and develop state-of-the-art algorithms, automation, and big data models in support of a cloud-based service that helps our customer resolve identities in their databases.

Our Software Engineers work in small, agile teams to create and maintain a SaaS offering on top of complex no-SQL data models and big data, implementing unique analytical and business logic functions.

We are looking for developers with strong Java experience. Candidates with additional experience in the technologies listed below will be given extra consideration, but most importantly, candidates must have a good grasp of CS fundamentals and programming principles.

Engineers at Verato have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the creation of a new technology and a new product that will disrupt an existing market.  They will be able to witness how new products are conceived, market-tested, and evolve while working directly with customer-facing product management. Job Requirements: Expertise, experience, training, or education in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

Verato is seeking an Identity Resolution Analyst to join our fun and dynamic company! The Identity Resolution Analyst will be a member of our Identity Analytics team. In this role, he/she will assess the business objectives of individual customers, determine the technical boundaries of the project, and apply Verato’s identity resolution algorithms and services in order to provide identity data quality uplift and to fulfill business objectives. Candidates must utilize a combination of technical, analytical, and domain expertise to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities of the Identity Resolution Analyst include:

  • Assess customer business needs and translate into technical requirements.
  • Design and evaluate the necessary database schemas and data transformations for individual projects.
  • Establish and maintain proper methods of data orchestration and data staging in order to effectively deliver Verato’s Identity Resolution services.
  • Identify common requirements across projects then design and implement automated, repeatable, solutions.
  • Coordinate with Solution Architects, Product Development, and Technical Operations teams to ensure successful project execution.

Field Developer

Field Developer

Field Developers work closely with Verato’s customers, sales engineers, and customer success team to help integrate Verato’s technology with systems and technologies present at our customers’ sites. Their primary responsibility is to enable Verato’s customers to quickly derive maximum value from Verato’s advanced functional capabilities in the realm of identity resolution. Occasional travel to customer sites will be required.

The role of a Field Developer goes beyond implementing software adapters or SDKs to interface with the customers’ systems. They must engage deeply with customers to understand the functional and technical requirements, and then collaborate with them on architecting workflows and components that satisfy the ultimate business objectives.

Field Developers at Verato have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the creation of a new technology and a new product that will disrupt an existing market. They will be able to witness how new products are conceived, market-tested, and evolved, and they will play a key role in identifying and prototyping product enhancements that should be incorporated into Verato’s core offering. Verato is an invaluable experience for entrepreneur-oriented developers who want to develop new products.

To fulfill the responsibilities of this position, the following is required:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science.
  • 5 years of experience in a software development role with customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Java, OOD/OOP, and design patterns.
  • Proficiency implementing and calling RESTful and SOAP web services using JSON and XML.
  • Experience with server-side web development (e.g. Tomcat, Struts, Spring, MVC).
  • Experience with one or more Master Patient Index (MPI) / Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Master Data Management (MDM) technologies; for example: Initiate, Cerner, Epic, Mirth.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Integration standards and technologies, including HL7, IHE’s PIX/PDQ, FHIR, and commercial interface engines.
  • Practitioner of Agile, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
  • Strong knowledge of secure coding best practices.
  • Proficient with Linux.
  • Proven record of delivery of high-quality, readable code, along with corresponding documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to adapt to new development environments and evolving business requirements.
  • Experience with AWS will be a positive differentiator.
