Verato is excited to share that Jenn Behrens, its Chief Privacy Officer, was recently recognized as an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP). The FIP designation signifies that Jenn has demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of privacy laws, privacy program management, and essential data protection practices through her successful completion of multiple IAPP credentials. Additionally, Jenn has significant on-the-job experience as she guides Verato in navigating through—and remaining current with—the complexities of the dynamic privacy industry.
Jenn specializes in privacy, governance, and identity management. She leads Verato in implementing a best-in-breed information security and privacy program, and in transitioning from compliance in information security and privacy to a state of proactive security and privacy excellence. Jenn guided Verato through successful PCI, HIPAA, and EI3PA certifications, and recently kicked off both HITRUST and SOC II assessments.
Jenn is the IDESG Plenary Chair, is an IAPP Women Leading Privacy Advisory Board Member, and served on the HIMSS Patient Identity Integrity Workgroup. She is a sought-after speaker in the privacy arena, speaking at conferences such as RSA, CIS, GIS and the Privacy + Security Forum, in addition to IAPP’s Global Privacy Summit and Privacy.Security.Risk Forum.
