Rel is General Counsel at Verato. Rel’s formal and hands-on education in both biomedical engineering and intellectual property law, gained through his work in both health technology companies and large law firms, makes him uniquely experienced to oversee the legal responsibilities of a high-growth healthcare IT company like Verato. Rel is actively involved in local charities, and coaches several of his children’s teams. On extended vacations, you can find Rel captaining a dive boat in the Caribbean.
Chief Marketing Officer
Mark Erwich is an innovative and internationally experienced Senior Marketing Executive with more than 30 years of success across the healthcare IT industries. Leveraging extensive experience leading marketing strategies, he has a passion for building data-driven marketing systems that empower creative marketing teams to thrive and perform. His broad areas of expertise include brand positioning, go-to-market-strategy, account-based marketing, product marketing, marketing operations, customer marketing, and demand generation. Throughout his executive career, Mr. Erwich has held leadership positions at Imprivata, Nuance, and Apple. In his last role as VP Marketing of healthcare IT security company Imprivata, he built the pipeline for the sales organization while delivering notable ROI, helped lead the company through an IPO and rebranding. Mark holds BBA and MBA degrees in Business and Marketing from Delta University in The Netherlands.
Chief Financial Officer
Isaac is Chief Financial Officer, responsible for ongoing financial operations at Verato, strategic financing, and corporate development activities. Isaac was previously an investment professional at Columbia Capital focused on early-stage communications, media, and technology startups, and has experience on Wall Street in M&A and financing advisory for media and telecommunications companies. Isaac graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Economics. A self-proclaimed foodie, in his spare time Isaac wants to produce and film a documentary about the curious late-night snacking habits of young urban professionals.
Chief Commercial Officer
As Chief Commercial Officer for Verato, Richard is responsible for driving revenue growth strategy and overall customer experience providing leadership and vision for the Sales teams. Richard brings over twenty-five years of Healthcare Industry experience. Prior to joining Verato, Richard led the Provider and Life Sciences Sales and Delivery organization for Sutherland Global Solutions. His prior roles also include his tenure as the first Chief Sales Officer for API Healthcare, previously the health care workforce management business unit of GE, Xerox where he has spent several years leading Sales and Customer Operations across their Provider, Pharma and Life Sciences clients and McKesson where he spent 17 years in various implementations, product management, delivery, and sales leadership roles. He received his bachelor’s degree with high honor in Marketing and a minor in Humanities from Michigan State University Honors College.
VP, Credit Information Solutions
Jim serves as the Verato Vice President of Credit Information Solutions. His thirty-year work history extends across a broad array of domains including big data analytics, homeland and national security, full spectrum Special Operations, intelligence analysis, intelligence operations, Counterterrorism, and Antiterrorism operations. He has an MBA from Touro University and a BADM from Campbell University. Outside of the office, Jim is often found chilling on the beach listening to his favorite Rolling Stones albums.
Chief Product Officer
Joaquim Neto is Chief Product Officer at Verato. He has decades of experience in information management and master data management technologies across industries, with a particular expertise in healthcare and in master patient index (MPI) and health information exchange (HIE) solutions. He has consulted and delivered solutions for healthcare providers and payers of all types—from Fortune 500 health systems to community hospitals. Prior to Verato, Joaquim worked at Initiate Systems and IBM. Joaquim is a fan of the outdoors and is an avid runner, biker, and fisherman.
Chief Technology Officer
Luis is Chief Technology Officer, responsible for implementing the Verato product roadmap across development and operations. He has 20 years of experience leading teams in the development of commercial enterprise software, with emphasis on highly scalable, Big Data, SaaS offerings and graduated from Monterrey’s Institute of Technology (ITESM) with a degree in Computer Systems Engineering. An avid runner outside the office, he regularly participates in short and mid distance races.
Chief Customer Experience Officer
As Chief Customer Experience Officer, Arti is proactively engaged in helping clients maximize their investment in Verato products and services. She has twenty years of experience helping clients develop person/citizen/consumer/patient matching strategy within their information architecture in industries including healthcare providers, health plans, Health Information Exchanges (HIE), County programs (e.g. Health and Human Services), and banking. Prior to joining Verato Arti worked at Initiate Systems, IBM and was part of the core team that built client relationships that enhanced customer experience in IBM Analytics products and lab services. Outside of work Arti enjoys volunteering in her community and practicing meditation.
Chief Executive Officer
Clay Ritchey is the Chief Executive Officer of Verato. Clay brings more than 20 years of experience driving growth and innovation in market leading healthcare technology organizations to Verato. As CEO, Clay is passionate about working with healthcare, life science and government organizations across the care continuum to transform the way that consumers and patients engage with them to build deeper relationships resulting in improved outcomes and sustainable growth for our customers. Prior to joining Verato, Clay served CEO of Evariant, a healthcare SaaS CRM and big data analytics company, achieving hyper growth of the organization and leading them to a successful merger. Prior roles also include Chief Marketing Officer at Imprivata, CEO at Maryland-based Equinox Healthcare, and Vice President of Marketing and Strategy at Hill-Rom IT Solutions. Ritchey received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BSEE, with Highest Distinction, from The Pennsylvania State University.
