inaccurate patient identification on quality of care and patient safety. We
don’t want to give too much away, but the conversation was an engaging one.
“I’m very hopeful that this
issue of patient matching is finally going to make it to the attention of the
people who care. Patient matching has historically been a part of the revenue
cycle responsibility within the hospital system, but we’re finding patient
matching now is an essential ingredient in clinical decision support, care
coordination, telemedicine systems and patient safety.”
