Rel Ambrozy
General Counsel
Rel is General Counsel at Verato. Rel’s formal and hands-on education in both biomedical engineering and intellectual property law, gained through his work in both health technology companies and large law firms, makes him uniquely experienced to oversee the legal responsibilities of a high-growth healthcare IT company like Verato. Rel is actively involved in local charities, and coaches several of his children’s teams. On extended vacations, you can find Rel captaining a dive boat in the Caribbean.
Mahesh Balasubramanian
VP, Enterprise Data Solutions
Mahesh is the Vice President of Enterprise Data Solutions at Verato. He leads the data platform, insights and analytics, technical program management and product enablement areas across the Verato product portfolio. Mahesh has over 20 years of experience in Data Platform and Business Insights technologies with strong healthcare and life sciences experience. Previously he has worked at WebMD/Healthgrades, UnitedHealth Group/Optum, CVS Caremark, Mayo Clinic, and City of Hope. Mahesh received his Master of Science from University of Houston.
Jason Bihun
Chief Revenue Officer
Jason is Chief Revenue Officer for Verato, responsible for commercial expansion into new markets. He has 20+ years of experience in growing enterprise technology companies specifically in the data management space and applications development. In previous roles Jason has lead deployment and sales teams of master data management solutions across a variety of industries including healthcare, financial services, insurance, and retail for many Fortune 100 companies. Jason is a graduate of the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana with a B.A. in Economics.
Rachel Blum
VP, Sales, Emerging Markets and Partners
Rachel brings over a decade of go-to-market expertise in the healthcare technology sector, encompassing strategy, planning, and execution. At Verato, Rachel has excelled in leadership roles across marketing, operations, business development, and partnerships. She has been instrumental in pioneering Verato GTM motions within the healthcare tech segment and channels, effectively managing customer relations, resources, and partners. Currently, Rachel focuses on incubating new market segments and enhancing leverage with channels and strategic partners. A Princeton graduate and former captain of the Princeton golf team, she is a fierce but fair competitor. Based in Seattle, Rachel enjoys playing Aussie rules football, often joined by her husband and their three children, two of whom are twins.
Doug Caira
Chief Customer Experience Officer
As Chief Customer Experience Officer, Doug is proactively engaged in helping customers maximize their investment in Verato products and services. He has 20 years of experience helping customers develop their information architecture strategies across technology, security, and mission critical industries. Prior to joining Verato Doug worked at Imprivata as part of the leadership team that built client relationships that enhanced customer experience via their Customer Success, Professional Services, Managed Services and Customer Support organizations. Before that he oversaw the customer experience organization across multiple technology companies in speech recognition, decision support, and data analytics companies. Doug has a B.A. in computer science from Brandeis University.

VP, Product Management
Jon brings his fifteen years’ experience in software delivery, from product management, product design and development to implementation and sales to Verato as Vice President of Product Management. Track record of leading teams to growth and high performance. Highly-motivated and detail-oriented with strong technical and problem-solving skills. Strong communicator with excellent people and writing skills; able to work with all levels of business and IT.
Cheryl Griffin, RHIA
VP, Professional Services
Cheryl Griffin is an experienced executive in the healthcare technology industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality professional services to healthcare clients using SaaS solutions. As the VP of Professional Services, Cheryl is responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals who provide implementation, customization, training, and consulting services to customers ensuring that all customer engagements are successful and exceed expectations. She works closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure that Verato solutions are designed and delivered with the customer's needs in mind. She also plays a key role in developing and implementing the company's overall customer experience strategy.
Isaac He
Chief Financial Officer
Isaac is Chief Financial Officer, responsible for ongoing financial operations at Verato, strategic financing, and corporate development activities. Isaac was previously an investment professional at Columbia Capital focused on early-stage communications, media, and technology startups, and has experience on Wall Street in M&A and financing advisory for media and telecommunications companies. Isaac graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Economics. A self-proclaimed foodie, in his spare time Isaac wants to produce and film a documentary about the curious late-night snacking habits of young urban professionals.
Joe Hickey
VP of Sales, Provider Markets
Joe has more than 25+ years of healthcare experience and a proven track record of optimizing hospital operations, streamlining communications, and deploying clinical service initiatives. Joe’s healthcare IT experience includes leading teams with Sodexo Healthcare, TeleTracking Technologies, Aidin, PerfectServe and Central Logic. Throughout his career Joe has followed his passion to unite healthcare leaders, care teams and patients to work collectively on improving the patient experience throughout the entire care continuum. Joe earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality from Plattsburgh University and received his Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ. Based in Longmont, Colorado, Joe leads Verato’s provider growth initiatives.
Trevor Janeck, PHR
VP, Head of Human Resources
Trevor Janeck is an experienced leader and human resources professional of nearly 20 years, with a large portion of that focused on developing and implementing talent attraction and retention strategies. He’s worked many years in banking and healthcare, including time served in hospital leadership roles throughout the global pandemic. Trevor is trained in lean process improvement methodologies and is passionate about applying those principals to get the best/most out of every team he leads. Trevor also holds dual degrees in Business Management and Human Resource Management from Portland State University. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters and all things outdoors.
Suman Majumder
VP, Engineering and Architecture
Suman is Vice President of Engineering and Architecture at Verato. He leads the technology architecture, product engineering, platform engineering, and partner applications development groups across the Verato platform and product portfolio. Suman brings 20+ years of enterprise software and SaaS experience with excellence in building and scaling cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) based SaaS products and platforms. Prior to Verato, Suman held senior leadership positions in software engineering, AI/ML, and big data analytics at multiple startups, high growth companies and large enterprises where he built, led, and scaled global technology teams. His professional experience spans across various industries including Healthcare, Legal, Education, Customer Experience (CX), Banking, and Financial Services.
Jim McLean
VP, Credit Information Solutions
Jim serves as the Verato Vice President of Credit Information Solutions. His thirty-year work history extends across a broad array of domains including big data analytics, homeland and national security, full spectrum Special Operations, intelligence analysis, intelligence operations, Counterterrorism, and Antiterrorism operations. He has an MBA from Touro University and a BADM from Campbell University. Outside of the office, Jim is often found chilling on the beach listening to his favorite Rolling Stones albums.
Avi Mukherjee
Chief Product and Technology Officer
Avi Mukherjee is the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Verato. He leads the product development, data science and solutions areas across the Verato product portfolio. Avi comes to Verato from Verily, a Google life sciences technology company where he lead the Healthcare Customer Solutions across Verily Health Systems and Payer customers. Prior to Verily, Avi was the Chief Product (Responsible for Technology and Product teams) officer at Evariant, that became Healthgrades/Mercury Healthcare via acquisition. He has been a Verato customer in both of those organizations and comes to Verato with a wealth of experience building and scaling cloud SaaS companies for healthcare. Avi cut his teeth in healthcare technology at organizations such as Hewlett Packard Healthcare Services, Optum Care and Capital Blue Cross.
Joaquim Neto
Chief Strategy Officer
Joaquim Neto is Chief Strategy Officer at Verato. He has decades of experience in information management and master data management technologies across industries, with a particular expertise in healthcare and in master patient index (MPI) and health information exchange (HIE) solutions. He has consulted and delivered solutions for healthcare providers and payers of all types—from Fortune 500 health systems to community hospitals. Prior to Verato, Joaquim worked at Initiate Systems and IBM. Joaquim is a fan of the outdoors and is an avid runner, biker, and fisherman.
Clay Ritchey
Chief Executive Officer
Clay Ritchey is the Chief Executive Officer of Verato. Clay brings more than 20 years of experience driving growth and innovation in market leading healthcare technology organizations to Verato. As CEO, Clay is passionate about working with healthcare, life science and government organizations across the care continuum to transform the way that consumers and patients engage with them to build deeper relationships resulting in improved outcomes and sustainable growth for our customers. Prior to joining Verato, Clay served CEO of Evariant, a healthcare SaaS CRM and big data analytics company, achieving hyper growth of the organization and leading them to a successful merger. Prior roles also include Chief Marketing Officer at Imprivata, CEO at Maryland-based Equinox Healthcare, and Vice President of Marketing and Strategy at Hill-Rom IT Solutions. Ritchey received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BSEE, with Highest Distinction, from The Pennsylvania State University.
Sid Tayal
VP, DevSecOps
Sid Tayal is Vice President of DevSecOps. He has more than 15 years of experience building Enterprise Software and managing cloud infrastructure for SaaS solutions. He is a strategic and passionate leader who delivers simple solutions to complex initiatives with high quality, cost efficiency, compliance to security frameworks, and value. Sid acts as liaison across functions to deliver and manage Verato's SaaS offering. Being a deployment expert, he is constantly on the lookout for ways to optimize Verato's hMDM platform infrastructure, integrate and deliver updates, and monitor it proactively. Sid's wealth of operational experience, ability to solve major challenges, and expertise in industry best practices make him the ideal leader to oversee Verato's SaaS infrastructure. Outside of work Sid enjoys wood working and photography.
