The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted underlying challenges in identity matching for public health organizations. Missing demographic data and outdated mailing addresses or telephone numbers makes it very difficult to accurately deliver and track test results, perform contact tracing, and distribute vaccines.
Verato and eHI conducted a survey to assess industry views and opinions on the importance of data matching and patient identity in the response to COVID-19. This one pager summarizes our findings.
