Don’t underestimate the value of patient identity
Your digital front door, your marketing, your care quality, and your claims all rest on one question: do you know which records belong to which person?
Most health systems don’t know as well as they think. Systems without an enterprise master patient index (EMPI) average 24% duplicate patient records, according to Black Book research.1 In an independent survey of 100 healthcare executives, 72% said they are concerned that siloed, inaccurate data hurts care quality and the bottom line.2 Only 14% were extremely satisfied with their patient identity accuracy.2
This whitepaper shows what that gap costs and what closing it is worth.
